It would be fantastic if one could select a master band-plan from /usr/share/sdrpp/bandplans/*, and an overlay or merge-in bandplan from ~/.config/sdrpp/bandplans. Or lacking that, that at least ~/.config/sdrpp/bandplans could allow for its plans to override or supplement the list of band plans found in /usr/share/sdrpp/bandplans.
The reason: The US band plan is okay, but lacks things like Marine SSB. I can create my own enhancements, but then I have to either save my enhanced version to /usr/share/sdrpp/bandplans/*, or modify an existing there. If I alter the path in configuration of where to find band plans, I lose the default ones unless I copy them all into a user-writable path such as ~/.config.
