Unselecting the "All Games" automatic collection disables the global search

I prefer not to have a "All games" collection, not to clutter the list of systems and collections that are more meaningful to me.

However if I unselect it (Main menu -> Game Collection Settings -> Automatic Game Collections -> All Games) then the West button doesn't open a search menu anymore unless i'm in a specific system.

I assume it's not intentional because there is no upside to this, just an inactive button and an also inaccurate instructions at the bottom of the screen since they still list the West button for "search/random".

I'm using retrobat, apologies if it's a retrobat issue and not an ES issue.
