making the rendering faster

hello, it's a very interesting project!
Do you know if it's possible to make it render the instructions faster? At the moment on my computer it's slow like a real turtle :)

I've tried to alter 144 constant FRAMES/SECOND and increase it, but it didn't change anything.

I've made a different version using your sdl binding, it works quite fine, you can make it render the graphics all at once, or step by step:

Hello! Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, haven't been at my computer much lately.

For a little speed boost try using gforth-fast instead of gforth, I find it makes a big difference.

Your forthtoise project looks great, I saw you had a little webpage set up for that repository showing the basics of FORTH, really cool.
