Focus switches to open file from Create User Dialog

What steps will reproduce the problem?

First you must not be signed up (You need to be a new user)

1. Click to Open a File in the editor from the default file list
2. Click [Sign Up] (as a new user)
3. click an input field and almost faster than you can type a letter, focus 
reverts to the open file in the background. Anything typed goes into the file 
instead of the Dialog, unless you click (to gain focus) and then type one 
character very fast.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I had to click the input field for, say First Name, and hit a letter very fast 
to get it input. Finally I noticed later that all the ones I wasn't fast 
enough, went into the open file. I then closed the file, and focus stayed with 
the Sign Up Dialog! It then worked like expected. Like trying to enter my first 
name Bill took several attempts at each letter, so when I seen the opened file 
I saw a line like this BBBiillll along with last name pieces and password 
pieces and everything. Especially trying to do caps, almost couldn't be fast 
enough...

What version of the product are you using? 

Which ever Version it gave me on 11/22/2012 (Thanksgiving day)

On what operating system?

Vista Home Premium SP2
