Creating labels

Starting with a template that has a frame for the the top-left label

add a logo

• Use the rectangle tool to create a spot to place the logo

• File -> Place

• Object -> Fitting -> Fit proportional ...

• Transform (panel on right): have the text wrap around the image

Add text

• Object -> Text frame options ... something like this to get at the left margin for the text

Repeat to create labels

• Select the whole thing (choose selector tool, then click and drag to cover all the items)

• Edit -> Copy

• Edit -> Step & Repeat

  • horizontal offset = 1"
  • vertical offset = 2 3/4"
  • 10 rows, 3 columns, create a grid
