Project Overview

Tuition Platform is a web-based application that connects tutors with guardians seeking home tuition services. It features a user-friendly registration system where tutors must provide a valid institution registration number. Guardians can create and manage tuition posts, while tutors can build profiles, search available jobs through the job board, apply for positions, and receive in-app notifications about their application status (accepted or rejected).

How to Run the Project (Recommended Way)

Requirements: xampp (includes Apache Server & MySQL)

Steps:

1. Start Apache and MySQL services from the XAMPP Control Panel.

2. Make sure the project folder is placed inside the htdocs directory: xampp/htdocs/TuitionPlatform

3. Open your web browser and navigate to: http://localhost/TuitionPlatform/index.php

You should now see the homepage of the Tuition Platform.
