Summary

  • Adds three reform variant notebooks for the Searchlight Institute tax reform analysis
  • Each reform includes CTC and EITC changes with different CTC amounts
  • Comprehensive 2026 impact analysis and 10-year budgetary projections

Reform Variants

Reform CTC Range (2026-2035)
Reform 1 $3,600 - $4,440
Reform 2 $3,000 - $3,600
Reform 3 $2,700 - $3,300

Outputs

Each notebook generates:

  • reform_X_impact_2026.csv - Full 2026 impact metrics (poverty, deciles, winners/losers, income brackets)
  • reform_X_10year_budgetary_impact.csv - Federal income tax impact 2026-2035
