Hi there 👋

My name is Martin, and I'm a Machine Learning Engineer and Researcher.

  • 🔭 I’m currently working as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Teia Labs.
  • 🎓 I hold a PhD (and a Master's) in Computer Science from PUCRS, where I specialized in deep learning and image editing.
  • 💼 I have experience working in both academia and industry, having collaborated with various research labs and companies.
  • 🤝 I am always open to new opportunities and collaborations; feel free to reach out!

🔬 Research Interests

I have been working with deep learning since 2016, and I'm passionate about its applications in creative fields. My main research interests include generative models, multimodal learning, and AI-assisted creativity. During my Master's and PhD studies, I explored the task of text-guided image editing. My ultimate goal is to work on removing the barriers to creativity through intelligent software to allow people to express their best creative selves.
