Getting Started

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/ng10op/TradeSphere.git
    cd TradeSphere
  2. Navigate to the frontend directory and install dependencies:

    cd frontend
    npm install
  3. Set up the backend:

    cd backend
    npm install

Environment Setup

  1. Create a file named .env in your backend folder.

  2. Add the following environment variables to your .env file:

    PORT = 8000
    MONGO_DB_URI = <your_mongodb_atlas_connection_string>
    NODE_ENV = development
    JWT_SECRET = <your_jwt_secret>

Running the Application

  1. Start the backend server:

    cd backend
    npm run dev
  2. Start the frontend server:

    cd frontend
    npm run dev
  3. Access the application:

    Open your web browser and go to http://localhost:5173 to view the application.
