Chore: weekly repo cleanup

This PR:

• address linter and spellchecker outputs
• sync contributor badges
• sync tags with the latest updates
• sync indexes + small update to the index generator to ignore the config folder and to index only the folders and files that are in the sidebar (no need to have index files for directories we dont want on the site)
