🧑‍💻 About Me

I'm a software developer at MTU Aero Engines in Munich, working at the intersection of mathematics, geometry, and engineering software. My background combines academic research in numerical methods with hands-on industrial software development.

  • 🔧 Extending CAE in-house tools with mathematical geometry descriptions
  • 🧪 Building automated test suites, CI/CD pipelines & custom dashboards
  • 🤝 Collaborating across disciplines with engineers from various departments
  • 🎓 Former researcher in Isogeometric Analysis — multi-patch parametrizations & C¹ smoothness
  • 🩷 And: I love Splines — if it's smooth and piecewise polynomial, I'm in
  • 🤖 In my free time: exploring Claude by Anthropic and discovering what the future of software development will look like

📚 Research

My academic work focused on isogeometric analysis over multi-patch domains — constructing approximate C¹-smooth basis functions and solving fourth-order PDEs. Key contributions:

  • 📄 Construction of approximate C¹ bases for isogeometric analysis on two-patch domainsarXiv:2103.02980
  • 📄 An approximate C¹ multi-patch space for isogeometric analysis with a comparison to Nitsche's methodarXiv:2202.04516
  • 🧩 Contributed to G+Smo, an open-source C++ library for isogeometric analysis

💬 Feel free to reach out — I'm always happy to connect!
